The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has invited applications for the recruitment to several posts of West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) and certain other services. As per the official notification, the selection of the candidates will be done through the WBCS 2021 Exam.

The examination will consist two stages - written and personality test. Candidates who qualify in prelims will be called for the further recruitment process. The Preliminary Examination will be held at various centres in Kolkata and in certain other districts in West Bengal tentatively in the month of March/ April, 2021.

Important Dates:

• Beginning of online application form- December 24, 2020


• Last date to submit online application form- January 15, 2021


• Last date to submit fees online - January 15, 2021


• Last date to submit fees through offline- January 16, 2021

Age Limit: For the general category candidates, the minimum minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 36 years. For candidates belonging to SC/ST, the upper age limit is relaxable by five years.

Eligibility criteria: Candidate must have a graduation degree along with an ability to read, write and speak in Bengali.
