As per reports, Kolkata has topped among the districts of West Bengal followed by East Midnapore which stands at second position followed by West Midnapore.
WBCHSE West Bengal will distribute the Class 12 marksheets in 52 camps on July 31 from 2pm. Soft copy of the marksheets can be downloaded from the official website at wbchse.nic.in or wbresults.nic.in
Boys outshine girls again




Boys have outscored girls in West Bengal Class 12 exam 2020. The pass percent of boys is 90.44% while the pass percent of girl is 90%.

This year a 90.13 percent students have cleared the West Bengal Class 12 exam, with boys scroing a success rate of 90.44 per cent, while a little over 90 per cent girls clearing the exam. As many as 7,61,583 students appeared for the examination this year out of which 6,80,057 passed the examination.

The press conference on Uccha Madhyamik result has started and the state board is about to announce class 12 exam results. As per reports, WBCHSE officials have arrived at the council office.

Admission to colleges in West Bengal for under-graduate courses will be through the online mode this year and students will not be called for counseling or verification of documents due to the COVID-19 pandemic, state Higher Education department said.

WBCHSE 2020 Result: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the class 12 WB Board HS result 2020 today at 4 pm, according to an official announcement made by the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Once declared, the students who have appeared for the class 12 board exams this year can check their results on the official websites of the West Bengal Board at wbresults.nic.in, wbchse.nic.in.

The officials from the board have confirmed that the formal announcement of WB 12th Result 2020 will be done by the board in the press meeting planned to be held at Vidhasagar Bhawan Office of the Board in Kolkata. Following the official announcement, West Bengal 12th Class Results 2020 will be made available to the students through various digital platforms including official results portal wbresults.nic.in

For the assessment of the cancelled papers, the council will take into consideration the marks obtained in already conducted papers. In this case, the highest marks obtained in a certain paper will be taken into consideration for the cancelled papers. Students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in cancelled papers can appeal to the Council which will conduct examinations for them after the ongoing crisis subsides.
