Boys have outscored girls in West Bengal Class 12 exam 2020. The pass percent of boys is 90.44% while the pass percent of girl is 90%.
This year a 90.13 percent students have cleared the West Bengal Class 12 exam, with boys scroing a success rate of 90.44 per cent, while a little over 90 per cent girls clearing the exam. As many as 7,61,583 students appeared for the examination this year out of which 6,80,057 passed the examination.

West Bengal Class 12 results will be published through a press conference to be held at Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor, Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council in Kolkata.
In the year 2019, boys had outscored girls with a margin of around 2%. The pass percent of boys was 87.44 as against that of girls at 85.3%

PPS stands for Post Publication Scrutiny and PPR for Post Publication review. Students who are not satisfied with their WBCHSE result 2020 can apply for scrutiny through PPS or apply for review through PPR to get their result 2020 verified. West Bengal class12th result 2020 after scrutiny and review will be published online.
On July 2, exams for education, physics, nutrition, and economics were held. On July 6, exams for Sanskrit, chemistry, economics, journalism, and mass communication, Parsi, Arabic and French were held. On July 8 examinations for geography, statistics, costing and taxation, home management, and family resource management were held.

Admission to colleges in West Bengal for under-graduate courses will be through the online mode this year and students will not be called for counseling or verification of documents due to the COVID-19 pandemic, state Higher Education department said.

WBCHSE 2020 Result: The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will declare the class 12 WB Board HS result 2020 today at 4 pm, according to an official announcement made by the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
Once declared, the students who have appeared for the class 12 board exams this year can check their results on the official websites of the West Bengal Board at wbresults.nic.in, wbchse.nic.in.
The officials from the board have confirmed that the formal announcement of WB 12th Result 2020 will be done by the board in the press meeting planned to be held at Vidhasagar Bhawan Office of the Board in Kolkata. Following the official announcement, West Bengal 12th Class Results 2020 will be made available to the students through various digital platforms including official results portal wbresults.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link that says 'WBCHSE Result 2020'
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page
Step 4: Enter the required details such as Roll Number or admit card id
Step 5: Hit on the 'Submit' button
Step 6: Your WBBSE 12th Result 2020 will be displayed on the screen
Step 7: Download and take the print out
To pass the Class 12 exam, students need to pass in all the compulsory subjects scoring an overall 30 percent. For students who are unable to secure the passing criterion, the board will conduct a supplementary examination.
Once the results are available, those who pass the exam will need to collect their original mark sheet from their respective schools.
The WBCHSE West Bengal Board Class 12 results 2020 will be announced for all the three streams - Science, Arts and Commerce.

Meanwhile, unlike the Madhyamik or Class 10 board exams, no toppers list would be published for the West Bengal Board Class 12 exams this year.
For the assessment of the cancelled papers, the council will take into consideration the marks obtained in already conducted papers. In this case, the highest marks obtained in a certain paper will be taken into consideration for the cancelled papers. Students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained in cancelled papers can appeal to the Council which will conduct examinations for them after the ongoing crisis subsides.
