New Delhi: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of University Grants Commission- National Eligibility Test (UGC- NET) December 2020 and June 2021 exams. Candidates can check for the result on the official website at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. 


Due to Covid-19, the NTA had conducted a combined exam for the December 2020 and June 2021 cycle between November 20, 2021, & January 5, 2022. 


Steps to check result



  • Visit the official website of the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. 

  • Click on the ‘View Result’ option. 

  • Fill in your Application Number, date of birth and security pin. 

  • Click ‘Submit’.

  • Save and download the result for future reference.

NTA UGC-NET 2021


The UGC-NET exam was conducted for 81 subjects in 837 centres in 239 cities across the country. Over 12 lakh candidates had applied for the exam. 


The UGC Chairman, Prof M Jagadesh Kumar had recently said that the result for UGC-NET was under process and will be released soon.

The NTA conducted the exam in three phases. The first phase of the UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 was held between November 20, 2021 and December 5, 2021. The second phase of the exam was conducted between December 24 to December 27, 2021. The third phase took place on January 4 and January 5, 2022.
