UGC NET 2020: The UGC NET exam begins from today after being postponed from the earlier date of September 16.  The National Testing Agency (NTA) had released date sheet and admit card last week on the official website- ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The exam will take place in two shifts from 9 AM to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. he exams which will begin from September will continue toll 5th November.

The decision to postpone the exams was taken as the date for UGC NET clashed with ICAR Examination AIEEA-UG/PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D.) 2020-21. The NTA said in an official notification that rescheduling was 'due to some common candidates in both exams and the requests received thereof.'
