Tripura TET 2019 Registration: The Teachers’ Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has commenced the online application process for Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2019 on its official website - trb.tripura.gov.in. TRB Tripura has introduced Kokborok – a Sino-Tibetan native language of the Borok people of the state of Tripura from T-TET 2019. “Kokborok as an alternative for Bengali (Language-II) in T-TET Paper-I & Paper-II has been introduced from T-TET 2019 session,” reads an important note in the Tripura TET 2019 Prospectus. The last date to apply for T-TET 2019 is 20^th June 2019, 4pm. TRBT will be organizing Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (T-TET) 2019 in OMR based test mode. The examination is held for teaching aspirants eligible to teach classes 1 to 8. Interested candidates can apply for T-TET 2019 Paper-I to gain eligibility to apply for teaching jobs for primary classes 1 to 5, on the other hand, candidates can apply for T-TET 2019 Paper-II to be eligible to apply for teaching jobs for upper primary classes 6 to 8. Eligibility Criteria for Tripura TET 2019: The eligibility criteria varies for Paper-I and Paper-II, and candidates must apply for the relevant paper only after ascertaining their eligibility for the same. To apply for T-TET 2019 Paper-I i.e. Undergraduate Teacher, the applicant must be Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) pass with at least 50% marks along with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known). A lot other combinations of Diploma in Special Education, B.El.Ed and B.Ed programmes are also eligible to apply for Paper-I subject to criterion mentioned in the T-TET 2019 Prospectus given below: T-TET 2019 Prospectus To apply for T-TET 2019 Paper-II i.e Graduate Teacher, the applicant must be a Graduate and must possess 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1-year diploma in education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known). Candidates who’ve passed other programmes like Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.), 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. EI. Ed.) or 4-years Integrated programmes like B.A. / B. Sc. Ed or B. A. Ed/ B. Sc. Ed must also read through the prospectus to ascertain their eligibility. Age-Limit: There is no age-limit to apply for T-TET 2019, however, as and when T-TET qualified candidates will be applying for the post of Graduate Teacher or Undergraduate Teacher they’ll have to comply by the rules of Government of Tripura. Currently, upper age limit of 40 years (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/PH and in-service government employee) as on the date of advertisement/ notification for recruitment of Under Graduate Teacher (For Classes I-V) and Graduate Teacher (For Classes VI-VIII) applies in the state.
