SSC CGL 2024 Salary: The Staff Selection Commission has started the registration process for the SSC CGL Recruitment 2024. This year, there are a total of 17,727 vacancies for Group B and Group C positions across various ministries and departments. According to the official notice, the SSC CGL salary ranges from INR 25,500 to INR 1,51,000, including perks, depending on the designation. The salary for different SSC CGL positions is calculated by taking various factors into account like basic pay, grade pay, HRA, DA, TA, and other allowances.

"There are approx. 17727 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course. Updated vacancies, if any, along with post-wise & category-wise vacancies will be made available on the website of the Commission (https://ssc.gov.in> For Candidates > Tentative Vacancy) in due course," the official notification reads.

• Assistant Section Officer in Central Secretariat Service
• Assistant Section Officer in the Intelligence Bureau
• Assistant Section Officer in Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology
• Assistant Section Officer in AFHQ
• Assistant Enforcement Officer in Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue
• Inspector in Central Bureau of Narcotics, Ministry of Finance

Pay Level 6 (INR 35,400 to INR 1,12,400)

• Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)
• Executive Assistant in CBIC (Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs)
• Assistant/Assistant Section Officer in various other Ministries/Departments
• Sub-Inspector/Junior Intelligence Officer in Narcotics Control Bureau (MHA)

Pay Level 5 (INR 29,200 to INR 92,300)
