Railways Minister, Piyush Goyal had clarified last year that the Indian Railways will refund Rs.250 and Rs.400 respectively for the above-mentioned categories after deducting bank charges for the candidates who would appear for the Computer Based Test. The applicants were asked to provide details of the beneficiary account in which they would like to receive the refund and furnish bank account details like Beneficiary name, Bank Name, Account No. and IFSC code in the online application form.
However, when the RRBs started processing the fee refund this year, it found scores of application forms bereft of accurate bank account details. The Indian Railways thereby notified the eligible candidates whose bank information was incomplete via SMS & email and facilitated the bank account details correction window for RRB Group D Recruitment 2018 fee refund on Saturday, 22nd March 2019, last week.
Today is the last day to update the account details to get the fee refund of Rs.250 (exempted categories) and Rs.400 (non-exempted categories). Thereby candidates who are eligible for this refund, and have still not updated their correct bank account details must do so immediately to avoid last minute rush.
