Understanding the Grading System

To successfully clear the Class 8 examination, students must secure at least 33% overall marks, combining theory and Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). Additionally, it is mandatory to score a minimum of 25% in the theory portion of each subject. 

Students are required to appear in nine subjects in total. Clearing all subjects under Group A is compulsory, while subjects in Group B must also be attempted, and their grades will be included in the final certificate.
