JEE Advanced Result  2021: Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance Result 2021 will be announced on 15 October 2021 on the official website jeeadv.ac.in. IIT Kharagpur has already announced the date and time of the result and has also been mentioned in the JoSAA Counselling 2021 schedule. JEE Advance Result 2021: Important Points


1-Result: Date, Time, and subsequent process
the date and time of the JEE Advance 2021 result have been declared. It will be released on the official website jeeadv.ac.in on October 15, 2021, at 10 am. After the results are released, the candidates are allotted rank on the basis of secure merit in the exam. This helps them in JoSAA counselling which admission process in IITs, NITs will start from 16th October.


2-Login: to the portal for choice locking or registration.
Candidates can use their JEE Main 2021 application number and password or JEE Main 2020 application number and password to log in to the portal.


3-Registration: mandatory for Admission
Candidates will have to register themselves at the beginning of JoSAA Counselling. They are informed that if they do not register, they will not be part of the counselling process and therefore, they will not get admission in IITs, NITs through JEE. The registration process will be held only initially from 16th to 25th October 2021
 
4-JoSAA counselling 2021: apply  for Academic Program in order for the preference
When JoSAA counselling begins, candidates have to apply for Academic programs in their order of preference. As per the rules of counselling, candidates will be allotted seats in this order.



  • Candidate's Category.

  • Candidate position in the rank list.

  • Order for preference of academic program given by the candidate.

  • Various seat category/category availability of seats in seat quota for which candidates are eligible.


5-Rank List:
A variety of rank lists are prepared after receiving applications for counselling. These rank lists are prepared category wise with further divisions such as Common Rank List (CRL), SC Rank List, ST Rank List, GEN EWS Rank List, PwD Rank List etc.


6-Editing of details:
Let the candidates know that they will not be allowed to edit any details after submitting their form or registering themselves for JoSAA Counseling 2021.


7-Additional seats for women students
As per the rules of counselling, there will be a provision for the creation of additional seats for women candidates. This will be done to improve gender balance in educational programs and special criteria will be followed for this.


8-Fee Payment:
Candidates note that after a seat is allotted to a particular IIT or NIT in an academic program, they will have to accept a seat, upload documents and pay the fee that will be sought there. Without it, their entry will not be accepted.
