NEET Paper Leak Case: RJD Shares Pic Of Mastermind Amit Anand With Bihar Deputy CM

NEET Paper Leak Case: RJD has shared a picture of paper leak mastermind Amit Anand with Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary.

NEET Paper Leak Case: A day after Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged that the prime suspect in the NEET paper leak was linked to the personal staff of RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, the RJD hit back. They shared a photo of another accused, Amit Anand, with Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary. In a post on X, the RJD claimed that Choudhary was being felicitated by the accused but has since deleted all photos with him.

"The main accused in the NEET paper leak scandal is seen with the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar. The so-called powerful minister, who was honored by the accused, has deleted all his photos with him from his social media handles. But don't worry, we have them all. Please forward this to your anxious counterpart, the other Deputy Chief Minister," RJD said in a Hindi post on X.

On Thursday, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha alleged that Tejashwi Yadav's personal secretary had close ties to one of the accused in the NEET paper leak case. BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha said: "On May 1, Tejashwi Yadav's personal secretary, Pritam Kumar, contacted guesthouse worker Pradip Kumar to book a room for Sikander Kumar Yadavendu. On May 4, Pritam Kumar again called Pradip Kumar for another booking, referring to Tejashwi Yadav as 'Mantri Ji'."

Sikander Kumar Yadavendu, a junior engineer in the Danapur Municipality, was previously arrested in the NEET-UG question paper leak case. Based on his statement, Amit Anand, who is alleged to be the mastermind behind the crime, was arrested.

Meanwhile, all four arrested NEET aspirants from Bihar have confessed that the medical entrance exam question paper was leaked the night before the exam.

Notably, Amid a heated controversy and opposition demands to re-conduct the NEET-UG medical entrance exam, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated on Thursday that isolated incidents of malpractice should not affect the many students who legitimately passed the exam. Describing the UGC-NET exam question paper leak as an "institutional failure" of the National Testing Agency (NTA), Pradhan announced that the government would establish a high-level panel to scrutinize the agency's operations.
