MHT CET 2021: Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant on Tuesday said that the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) 2021 shall be conducted by the first week of August 2021. Earlier on June 9, the Maharashtra common entrance test (CET) cell commence the online registration process for the MHT CET 2021 on its official website. Candidates who are yet to apply for the MHT CET 2021 can do so online at mhtcet2021.mahacet.org on or before July 7, 2021, until 11:59 pm. 


The Minister said that the regular classes in colleges will not begin as of now in view of the current covid-19 pandemic. "The CET can be held in July last week or the first week of August," he was quoted by PTI in its report.

The MHT CET 2021 examination will be held for two groups, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) group and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) group in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 To 12 am in the morning, and the second shift is scheduled to be held from 2 to 5 pm in the evening. "MHT-CET 2021 is a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) test. Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response," reads the official notification. 


MHT CET 2021 entrance examination is conducted by the MHT CET cell for admission to the first year of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and other professional programs at various institutions spread across the state.
