MHT CET 2021: The Maharashtra common entrance test (CET) cell on Wednesday began the online registration process for the MHT CET 2021 on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2021 online at mhtcet2021.mahacet.org on or before July 7, 2021, until 11:59 pm. However, candidates will be also able to apply after the last date of the MHT CET 2021 registration from July 8 to 15, 2021, with an additional fee of Rs 500.
MHT CET 2021 entrance examination is conducted by the MHT CET cell for admission to the first year of Engineering, Technology, Pharmacy, Agriculture, and other professional programs at various institutions spread across the state.
“Registration for the MHT-CET 2021 Entrance Examination for the first year Engineering / Technology, Pharmacology and Agricultural Education for the academic year 2021-22 will start today from 08/06/2021 to 07/07/2021,” tweeted Maharashtra Higher and Technical Education Minister Uday Samant.
The MHT CET 2021 examination will be held for two groups, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) group and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) group in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9 To 12 am in the morning, and the second shift is scheduled to be held from 2 to 5 pm in the evening.
Candidates belonging to the general category from Maharashtra, and, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), and J-K migrants will have to pay an application fee of Rs 800. For Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, and EWS and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only, the registration fee is Rs 600.
"MHT-CET 2021 is a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) test. Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response," reads the official notification.
