The Indian School of Business (ISB) recently conducted the ISB PGPMAX Leadership Summit 2022, which was attended by Telangana Governor and Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, among others.

PGPMAX Leadership Summit is an annual event organised by the ISB's PGPMAX (Post Graduate Programme in Management for Senior Executives) alumni and students to connect present and future leaders from the ISB community under one roof. This year, the theme of the summit was: "Where Leaders Meet - Strategy, Synergy, Success."

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Soundararajan, who was the guest of honour, provided some management insights with the gathering sharing some experiences from her personal life. She emphasised the need for focusing on tiny things in terms of management, claiming that if smaller things are rectified, larger things will follow.

“Managing our sub-ordinates, assistants, and workforce is an art. Whatever may be the business, if we are able to manage our workforce, we can achieve half of the success,” she said.

The governor also talked about achievement, failure, and the need for maintaining a good attitude.

“We should celebrate success even when we face failures if all our efforts are sincere. We should sharpen our skills and grow constantly, no matter where we are at, otherwise there are thousands who will overtake us,” she said.
