The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police on Wednesday arrested the second mastermind in the UP Police Constable recruitment exam paper leak. Acting on a tip-off, the Special Task Force (STF) of the police laid a trap and arrested Ravi Atri near the Jewar bus stand in the Gautam Buddh Nagar district. Special Task Force (STF) recovered three question papers among other things from him. Brijesh Kumar Singh, Assistant Superintendent of Police said, "Our team received information about Atri's arrival at the Jewar-Khurja bus stand in Noida. Acting on this intelligence, our team successfully arrested him".
According to the police, Atri managed to gain the trust of staff at the courier company, paying them a monthly sum of Rs. 20,000 to receive alerts about the arrival of exam papers. He faces charges under the UP Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, sections 420 (cheating), 467 (forgery), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
Ravi Atri was a student of Rohtak Medical College. Ravi Atri who is an MBBS dropout from Greater Noida's Neemka village, has been identified as the lead person behind the UP police exam paper leak case. Ravi Atri's family describes him as a studious young man who has always dreamt of becoming a doctor but got involved in the wrong crowd after going to Kota for coaching. Ravi became skillful at leaking question papers and even acted as a problem solver for various competitive exams.

Ravi Atri has been accused of leaking Question Papers to 1050 students of Gurugram and Rewa, Madhya Pradesh.
Notably, the UP Police Constable Recruitment exam was conducted on February 17 and 18,43 lakh candidates participated in the exam to compete for 60,000 posts of UP police constables. However, due to the leak, the recruitment exam had to be cancelled.
