UKSSSC Driver Recruitment 2021: The Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) has started the application process for drivers by carrying out a recruitment drive to fill 164 vacancies. Candidates need to have at least passed Class 8th to be eligible to appear for the recruitment process. Candidates can apply online for these posts until the deadline which is October 10, 2021. The selection of candidates for these posts will be done on the basis of an examination conducted by the commission. The chief prerequisite is that the candidates applying should have a valid driving license. 

According to the notification issued by UKSSSC, this recruitment drive is to be held for 161 vacancies for Drivers, 2 vacancies for Enforcement Drivers and 1 vacancy for a Dispatch Rider. The total number of vacant positions is 164.

The process of application for these posts of driver began on August 27. The deadline for applying online is October 10, 2021. The last date for submission of the application fee is October 12, 2021. The recruitment examination for these vacancies is scheduled to be held in December 2021.

Educational Qualification and Age Limit:

Candidates who have completed Class 8th and above from any recognized board are eligible to apply for these posts. Candidates should have a valid Bus Driving License. Applicants could not be less than 21 years old and more than 42 years old. Candidates from the reservation category are eligible to get age relaxation as per rules.

Application Fee:

The application fee for General, OBC and EWS category candidates has been fixed at Rs 300. For SC and ST candidates, the application fee is Rs. 150. The application fee can be paid online.
