The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will close the application process for the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023. Candidates who are interested in the CPO recruitment but are yet to submit their registration cum application forms for the recruitment are advised to do the same as soon as possible. Applications for the recruitment are to be submitted in the online mode only on the official website - ssc.nic.in. Notably, the SSC is conducting the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023 to shortlist suitable candidates for the posts of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs (Central Armed Police Forces).
Interested candidates may note that the SSC CPO 2023 Application Fee is Rs 100, while Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of application fee. “The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs). Government strives to have a workforce which reflects gender balance and women candidates are encouraged to apply,” read the official SSC CPO 2023 notification.

Following the closure of the SSC CPO 2023 Application process, the SSC will also open the application correction facility for registered candidates from August 16 to August 17 (till 11:00 AM). Online examination for the recruitment will be held in October 2023, and the SSC is expected to release the exact dates of the examination soon. Notably, the SSC is conducting the SSC CPO Recruitment 2023 to fill a total of 333 vacancies for the posts of Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Male, Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Female, Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs. Out of the total vacancies, 109 are for Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Male, 54 for Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police-Female, and 171 for Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs.

- On the homepage, register on the SSC portal
- Login to the portal again
- In the new page that opens, click on the Apply button ‘Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspector in CISF Examination, 2023’
- Fill in the application form with all required details and relevant documents
- Pay the application fee online
- Submit the application
- Download the application confirmation page for reference
