The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is expected to release the results for the SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2024 exam soon. Candidates who took the SSC CGL Tier I exam will be able to check their results on the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in) once they are available. The Tier I exam was conducted nationwide from September 9 to September 26, 2024, as part of a recruitment drive to fill 17,727 Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ vacancies across various Ministries, Departments, and Government Bodies in India.


The provisional answer key was published on October 4, with objections accepted until October 8. To pass the exam, candidates in the unreserved category need a minimum score of 30%, while OBC and EWS candidates must secure at least 25%. For SC and ST candidates, the minimum qualifying mark is 20%.






The Tier I exam featured objective, multiple-choice questions across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Each section comprised 25 questions, carrying a maximum of 50 marks per section. All questions were available in both English and Hindi, except for those in the English Comprehension section.

To check and download your SSC CGL 2024 scorecard, follow these steps:


Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.nic.in.


Step 2: Log in using your registration number and password.


Step 3: Click on the “SSC CGL Result 2024” link.


Step 4: Enter the required details and submit.


Step 5: Your result will appear on the screen. Download and print it for future reference.

Please note that the SSC enforces a strict no re-evaluation policy for CGL exams. Once results are released, requests for rechecking or re-evaluation of answer sheets will not be accepted. The SSC CGL Tier I results play a critical role in determining candidates' eligibility for the Tier II stage. Candidates who perform well in Tier I will advance to Tier II; however, final selection will be based on the cumulative scores from all exam tiers.
