The State Bank of India (SBI) has released a notification inviting applications for a total of 107 vacancies. These vacancies are specifically reserved for Ex-servicemen, Ex-CAPF (Central Armed Police Forces), and State Fire Service Personnel. The available positions include 107 posts for Armourers and Control Room Operators in the Clerical Cadre. The application process for these positions is set to begin on September 6, 2023 and candidates interested in applying can do so until October 10, 2023.

The SBI recruitment for 2023 offers a total of 107 vacancies, with 89 of these vacancies designated for the position of Control Room Operator in the Clerical Cadre and the remaining 18 vacancies for the post of Armourers.


SBI Recruitment 2023: Selection Process


The selection process for SBI Recruitment 2023 consists of two stages. First, there will be an online test with a total score of 100 marks, followed by a subsequent interview round, which holds a weightage of 25 marks. The written tests will be conducted online and the tentative schedule for these tests is set for November/December 2023.


SBI Recruitment 2023: Age Limit


Regarding the age limit for applicants, for the post of Armourer, candidates must be between 20 and 45 years old. For the post of Control Room Operator, the minimum age requirement is 20 years, while the maximum age limit varies depending on the category:



  • For Ex-servicemen/Ex-CAPF/AR candidates, the maximum age is 48 years.

  • For State Fire Service Personnel, the maximum age is 35 years.
