SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020 Cancelled, Application Fee To Be Refunded

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020: On Tuesday, July 6, the SBI apprentice recruitment process 2020 was cancelled by the bank.

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020: The online registration process for the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 began on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. The State Bank of India (SBI) will train as many as 6,100 apprentices for a duration of one year. Despite the apprentice will not be an employee of the SBI Bank, they will still receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15000. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2021 online at sbi.co.in on or before July 26, 2021. 

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2020 Cancelled:

Earlier, the bank had invited online applications for the SBI apprentice recruitment process on November 20, 2020. However, on Tuesday, July 6, the SBI apprentice recruitment process 2020 was cancelled by the bank. "The process of Engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 vide our Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2020-21/07 dated 20.11.2020 has been cancelled," reads the official notification. 

"All the candidates who had applied under the above advertisement and had paid the fees will get the refund," further reads the notification. 

SBI Apprentice Recruitment 2021:

 The bank is conducting the recruitment drive to fill 6100 vacancies, out of which, 2577 vacancies are for the General category, 1375 for OBC, 977 for SC, 604 for EWS, and 567 for ST. Candidates applying for the position must have completed graduation from a recognized institute or varsity. The minimum age limit required to apply for these posts is 20 years. It must be noted that the candidate should not exceed 28 years of age as of October 31, 2020. 

Candidates belonging to the General/OBC/EWS category are required to pay an application fee of Rs 300. However, the SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from the payment of the registration fee.
