RRB RPF Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has begun the application process for the recruitment of Sub-Inspector and Constable in the Railway Protection Force. Interested and eligible candidates can fill the application form through the regional websites of RRBs or directly on rrbapply.gov.in. The last date to apply online is May 14, 2025. The correction window will open from May 15 to May 24, 2025. RPF Notification 2024 which has details like important dates, eligibility criteria, age limit and application fee is available on the official website at rpf.indianrailways.gov.in. Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all the prescribed educational qualifications for the post on or before the closing date for submitting the application.

RRB RPF Vacancy Details


A total of 4660 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive, out of which 4208 posts are reserved for Constable and the remaining 452 for Sub Inspector posts.


RRB RPF Eligibility Criteria 


Sub-Inspector: The candidate must hold a graduation degree from a university recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.


Constable: The candidates should have passed the class 10 exam or an equivalent examination from a board recognised by the Government of India.


RRB RPF Age Limit 


Sub-Inspector: The candidate should not be less than 20 and more than 28 years old.

Constable: The candidate should not be less than 18 and more than 28 years old.


RRB RPF Selection Process


Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement (PMT). RPF Exam Date 2024 (CBT) will be released in due course of time.

RRB RPF Application Fee


- For all candidates: Rs 500

Out of this fee of Rs 500, an amount of Rs 400 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.


- For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC): Rs 250


This fee of Rs 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in CBT.

RRB RPF Sub-Inspector Salary: Rs 35,400 Initial Pay
