Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2021: The Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) on Tuesday invited online applications for the recruitment of the Sub–Inspector posts on its official website. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2021 online at odishapolice.gov.in on or before July 15, 2021.
The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 477 vacancies, out of which, 239 vacancies are for the unreserved category, 107 for ST, 78 for SC, and 53 for the SEBC category. "Persons with Disability are not eligible for recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector. Transgender applicants are eligible to apply," reads the official notification.
The board has tentatively scheduled the recruitment examination to be conducted from August 6 to 16, 2021.
Educational Qualification And Age Limit:
Candidates applying for the position must possess a Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline from a recognized University. Candidates who want to apply should be between 21 to 25 years of age as on January 1, 2021. "The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in respect of SC/ST/SEBC/Women candidates. For ex-servicemen, the relaxation shall be for the entire period of service rendered in the Armed Forces. However, a candidate can avail only one type of age relaxation as per rules," further reads the notice.
Application fee:
Candidates applying for the Odisha Police SI Recruitment 2021 will have to pay Rs 285 as an application fee. However, candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories are exempted from the payment of any registration fee.
