- MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre: 80 posts
- Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM): 1 post
Eligibility Criteria For Telangana Nursing Officer Post
Candidates interested in applying for Telangana Nursing Officer positions must meet the following requirements:
Educational Qualification: Applicants must have completed either a General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing). They must also be registered with the Indian Nursing Council (INC) or the respective State Nursing Council.
Age Limit: The minimum age is 18 years, while the maximum age limit has been raised from 44 to 46 years as of February 8, 2024. Special age relaxations apply, including:
- 10 years for candidates with disabilities
- 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates
- 3 years for ex-servicemen and NCC certificate holders
Telangana Nursing Officer Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates will be evaluated on a 100-point system:
Written Examination: The test on November 17, 2024, will have 80 multiple-choice questions, carrying a maximum of 80 points based on the percentage of marks obtained.
Service in Government Hospitals/Institutions: Up to 20 points will be awarded for service in state government hospitals or programs on a contract or outsourced basis.
- Tribal areas: 2.5 points per 6 months of service.
- Non-tribal areas: 2 points per 6 months of service.
- Points are granted only for completed 6-month periods and require certification from a competent authority. Only service relevant to the post applied for will be considered.
