The Lucknow University has started inviting applications for the Lucknow University Professor Recruitment 2023. Interested candidates who wish to participate for the recruitment can apply for the recruitment on the official website - lkouniv.ac.in. The Lucknow University is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the posts of assistant professor, associate professor, professor, and director on contractual basis, in its various self-financed departments and institutions.The last date to apply for the recruitment is December 7, 2023.
The Lucknow University notified the recruitment drive through an official notice on its website. “Online applications from Indian Citizens are invited for the posts of Assistant Professor (CoJHFactual), Associate Professor (Contractual), Professor (Contractual) and Director (Contractual) for various Self Financed Programs run under different Department/Institutions of the University. Applicants are advised to visit CAREERS menu of the website www.lkouniv.ac.in for detailed advertisement and Application Form. Last date for submission of the online application form is 07.12.2023,” reads the official notice.
The university has also stated that those candidates who have applied earlier and whose application is under process, need not apply for the recruitment again. However, such candidates will be able to update/ make changes to their applications. “Applicants who had applied earlier against Advertisement No. R/06/21/SF Dated 29.07.2021 & R/02/22(SF) Dated 02.0&.2022 respectively and whose selection process is not completed, need not apply again under that same post/category. However they can update/amend their previous application form if needed,” the notice adds.
To apply for the Lucknow University professor recruitment, candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,500. However, the application fee for SC, ST candidates is Rs 1,200. The university is conducting the recruitment drive to recruit 84 assistant professors, 29 associate professors and 13 professors, through the recruitment drive. However, to be eligible for recruitment, applicants must fulfill the norms laid by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the posts.
