CSIR Recruitment 2023: Apply Online For 444 Section Officer Posts, Here Are Steps To Fill Application Form

CSIR Recruitment 2023: The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is accepting applications for 444 Section Officer and Assistant Section Officer positions. Applications are open until January 12 and interested candidates can apply through the official website at csir.res.in. The last date to submit the application fee is January 14, 2024. The tentative date for the Phase 1 examination is set for February 2024. Candidates will have to visit the CSIR’s website to download call letters for Stage- I, Stage- II test and interview. Intimation for downloading call letter will also be sent through email/SMS. Once the candidates clicks the relevant link, they can access the window to download the call letter.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 444 positions of which 368 vacancies are for the post of Assistant Section Officer and 76 vacancies are for the post of Section Officer.

The upper age of the candidates should not exceed 33 years.

The application fee for Unreserved (UR), OBC and EWS Categories is Rs 500. Women/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/CSIR Departmental Candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.

According to the notification, the salary range for Section Officer positions is Rs 47,600 - Rs 1,51,100 and for Assistant Section Officer roles, it stands at Rs 44,900 - Rs 1,42,400.
