CBSE CTET 2021 Registration: Last Day To Register For Central Teacher Eligibility Test Tomorrow — Here's How To Apply

CBSE CTET 2021: Eligible primary and secondary stage candidates are free to apply. This exam is scheduled to be held between December 16, 2021 and January 13, 2022.

New Delhi: CBSE had initiated the application process for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2021) on September 20, 2021. The last date to apply for this exam is October 19, 2021. All eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to apply soon.

According to CBSE, CTET 2021 would be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode. This exam would be held in 20 languages across the country. Candidates who have completed their B.Ed, DELED and B.L.Ed. are eligible to apply for primary and secondary levels of CTET 2021. 

CTET 2021 Important dates: 

Online Application Begin: September 20, 2021
Last Date for Application Submission: October 19, 2021
Last Date for Submission of Application Fee: October 20, 2021
Date of Computer Based Examination: December 16, 2021 to January 13, 2022 

Educational Prerequisites: 

Candidates applying for Primary Stage (Classes 1 to 5) of CTET should have Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or Diploma/Degree in B.Ed (B.Ed) with 50% marks. 

Candidates applying for Secondary Stage (Classes 6 to 8) of CTET should have B.ED or any diploma/degree equivalent to it with 50% marks. To get more information on this, kindly refer official notification from CBSE.

Application Fee:

The application fee for General and OBC category applicants applying for any stage (Primary or Secondary) is Rs. 700. The fee for SCs, STs and Differently-abled candidates is Rs. 350. 

If one wants to apply for both stages (primary and secondary), the application fee for candiates from General and OBC categories is Rs. 1200 and for candidates from SC, ST, and Divyang categories are Rs 600. This fee could be paid online only.

1. In order to apply for CTET, you first need to visit its official website, https://ctet.nic.in . 2. You would be able to see a CTET 2021 notification on its homepage. 3. The notification would also contain an application form and a step-by-step guide on how to apply. You should follow these steps in order to apply for CTET 2021.
