The Jaipur Literature Festival 2023 (JLF 2023) begins today, January 19, 2023, with ABP Live as its media partner. The 5-day premier lit fest will conclude on January 23. One of India’s most popular literature fests, the JLF 2023 is the 16th edition of the fest and features a wide range of events for visitors, participants, and literature lovers. The JLF 2023 will be open for all from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM on all days of the festival.


Plenary sessions by Noble and Booker prize winning speakers on a wide array of subjects like climate justice, women's writing, crime fiction, memoirs, translation, poetry, economics, and more, are perhaps, one of the major highlights of the JLF 2023. 


The 16th Edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival will feature sessions in 21 Indian and 14 Foreign Languages across 5 venues. Over 350 speakers from all around the globe participating in various talk shows and events in the festival, students and visitors at the JLF 2023 will experience deeper yet multi-dimensional insights on a wide range of topics. 


JLF 2023: Bookings and Packages


To participate in the Jaipur Literature Festival 2023, students and attendees will have to register and book their visit online on jaipurliteraturefestival.org. There are three types of booking categories with different booking amounts and types of access to the festival and its events. 


The “General” booking amount is Rs 200 per day which offers access to the festival venues, food courts, book store, merchandise space, and art installation spaces. Students can book their attendance to the festival under the “School Student” category which costs Rs 100 for all 5 days. 


There’s also a top-tier “Friend Of The Festival Package” which costs Rs 13,500 per day. The exclusive premium package includes access to the lunch area and delegate lounge, entry to a majestic event at the heritage site in Jaipur, priority entry to some exclusive sessions and cocktail at the festival. 


Besides the main festival bookings, there’s also a “Jaipur Music Stage” booking category  which costs Rs 499 for a day and offers access to several events in and around the Jaipur Music Stage. 


JLF 2023: How To Register To Attend?



  • Visit the official JLF website - jaipurliteraturefestival.org

  • On the homepage, click on the “Register to Attend” tab

  • In the new page that opens, select your booking category, number of people attending and then “add to cart”

  • Add details of the visitors as well as their photograph and ID

  • Click on submit

  • Pay the booking fee online

  • Your JLF 2023 Visiting Pass shall be generated now

  • Download your visiting pass and take print-outs of it for reference
