This year a total of 2,88,928 students cleared the exams and the overall pass percentage was 75.01 percent. Students will get grace marks if they fail in a subject with a shortage of up to 5% marks. If a student fails in two subjects with a shortage of up to 3% marks in each, then grace marks will be provided in each paper.
Over 3.87 lakh students had appeared for the class 10 exams held from February 10 to 28 this year. Last year 70.77% of students passed the class 10 exams. After months of waiting the JAC confirmed the date of the results on Tuesday. Usually, the results for class 10 students are released in the month of May, but this time due to the coronavirus pandemic there has been a delay in the evaluation of answer sheets. The JAC had released the results for class 11 on July 4, Saturday. The evaluation process for class 12 is still ongoing and according to the Board, the results are likely to be announced by the end of the month.

Here is how to check your results
Step 1: Log on to JAC official website i.e. jac.nic.in / jacresults.com
Step 2: On home page, click on Jharkhand 10th Result 2020
Step 3: Enter your exam roll number and other details asked on the website
Step 4: Verify all the details against the hall ticket and hit submit button
Step 5: Your JAC Matric Result 2020 will be displayed on the page
Step 6: Download softcopy of your scorecard for future reference
