IOCL Recruitment 2019: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has released a notification to fill 420 vacancies for the post of Apprentice on its official website – iocl.com. IOCL is inviting applications for Technical and Non-technical posts of Trade and Technician Apprentices and aims to place the selected candidates for its Southern region centers located in Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The engagement of selected apprentices will be for a period of 12 months. The online application process is scheduled to begin tomorrow i.e. 18^th January 2019 and interested candidates must submit their online applications on or before 10^th February 2019. IOCL Recruitment 2019 – Vacancy Details: Trade Apprentice (ITI) – 120 Posts Technician Apprentice (Diploma) – 150 Posts Trade Apprentice (Accountant) – 150 Posts Eligibility Criteria: Trade Apprentice: The applicant must be Class 10^th pass and must possess 2 years full time ITI certificate in the relevant trade (Fitter, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic or Machinist) from a recognized institute. Technician Apprentice: The applicant must possess a Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics) in the relevant field with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institute (45% for SC/ST). Trade Apprentice Accountant: The applicant must be a Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks from a recognized institute. Age Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 24 years as on 31^st December 2018. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official notification given below. Selection Process: The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of a Written Test (85% weightage) and Interview (15%). Stipend: The selected candidates will be eligible to receive a consolidated monthly stipend as per Apprenticeship Rules with an additional amount of Rs.2500/- for stationery, conveyance, and other misc. expenses.
