Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: 554 Tradesman Mate Posts, Class 10th + ITI Pass Eligible to Apply

Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: The Indian Navy has notified 554 Civilian vacancies for the post of Tradesman Mate via Indian Navy Civilian Entrance Test 2019 against advertisement number INCET-TMM-01/2019 at davp.nic.in. The online application process for this recruitment drive by the Indian Navy is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 2nd March 2019, 10 am, this week, on the official website of the Indian Navy - joinindiannavy.gov.in. The closing date for the same is 15th March 2019, 5 pm.
The major responsibilities for the post of Tradesman Mate in the Indian Navy include working in production /maintenance of Shop/Ship/Submarine; general cleanliness & upkeep of the Section/Unit, besides carrying of files and other papers within the Office area, photocopying, sending/receiving of FAX, letters etc.

Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam (HQENC) – 46
Headquarters Western Naval Command, Mumbai (HQWNC) – 502
Headquarters Southern Naval Command, Kochi (HQSNC) – 6
Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant must be 10th Standard pass from a recognized Board / Institutions and must possess Certificate from a recognised Industrial Training Institute (lTI) in relevant trade.
Age-Limit:
The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 18 to 25 years as on 15th March 2019. Age relaxation rules apply as stated in the official notification given below:

Selection Process:
The Indian Navy will shortlist candidates based on their inputs via online application process. The shortlisted/eligible candidates will be invited for online Computer Based Examination (CBE) which will comprise of objective type questions based on Matriculation and ITI, in both English & Hindi (except for General English). Candidates who’ll make it to the merit list of the CBE will be called for Document Verification (DV) process followed by Medical Examination.
Pay Scale:
The selected candidates will be placed in General Central Service, Group ‘C’, Non Gazetted, Industrial in Pay Band as per Seventh CPC, Level 1- Rs.18000-56900/- per month.
