Home Minister Amit Shah virtually laid the foundation stone of the Shri Motibhai R Choudhury Sagar Sainik School in Mehsana, Gujarat. The school is located near Dudhsagar Dairy in Mehsana. This initiative is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call to establish 100 new Sainik Schools on a public-private partnership (PPP) basis.
During the event, Amit Shah praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not only bringing development to the country but also actively involving everyone in the nation's progress.
"The work of water revolution in Gujarat was done by then Chief Minister and present Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Modi has done the work of raising the water level in Gujarat through the Sujlam Suflam Yojana," said Home Minister Amit Shah.
He further said that the central government has played a crucial role in connecting people with the cooperative sector.
“PM has done the politics of development. To inculcate a sense of national pride in children, emphasis has been laid on starting Sainik schools. PM has said that if the effort of society increases, the speed of development will double,” said Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel at the inauguration of Sagar Sainik School in Mehsana.
Bhupendra Patel further said that the PM has given a gift to the daughters of the country, as girls are also given admission to Sainik schools and 10 percent of seats are reserved for them in Sainik schools.

The foundation stone ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, along with senior cabinet ministers. The Sainik School will be established in Boriyavi village, located 11 kilometers away from Mehsana city. Dudh Sagar Dairy, a prominent cooperative organization, will undertake the project at a cost of 75 crores rupees.
