The typo-ridden letter goes on to state that ‘the Ministry has asked the states to allot seats to candidates for NEET PG admission 2020 through respected state rounds/AIQ 50 percent seats/ Deemed/ Central Universities/ AFMC by Medical Counselling Committee. ‘ It also says that ‘he/she shall not be eligible for participation in further rounds of counselling of state and DNB (2nd & 3rd round).’
The Press Information Bureau (PIB)has declared that the official-looking document is a fake and that no such announcement has been made. The PIB Twitter page has posted the image and written ‘Claim- A Letter circulating allegedly from Health Ministry to Chief Secretaries of all states, regarding online counselling & PG seat allotment. #PIBFactCheck- The letter is #Fake.
