Goa Board Class 12th Result 2019 Out: Commerce stream tops with 91.86% pass percentage; Girls outshine boys, register 91.97% pass percentage

Goa Board Class 12th Result 2019: Goa Board Class 12th Result 2019 has been declared today i.e. on 30th April 2019 by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) at ghshse.gov.in.

Goa Board Class 12th Result 2019: Goa Board Class 12^th Result 2019 has been declared today i.e. on 30^th April 2019 by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) at ghshse.gov.in. A total of 16959 students had appeared for Goa Board Class 12^th Exams 2019, out of which 15187 students have been declared pass in today’s results. The overall pass percentage recorded for GBSHSE HSSC Result 2019 is 89.5%.

Maintaining the country’s trend, girls of Goa surpassed boys by registering an overall pass percentage of 91.97% as compared to 86.91% for boy students.

Talking about stream wise distribution of students, out of the total 16959 exam partakers, 5173 were from commerce stream, 4819 from science, 4117 from arts and 2843 appeared for exams for vocational courses.



The pass percentage for commerce stream stood at 91.86% with 4752/5173 students passing the exam. Science students registered a pass percentage of 91.76% with 4422/4819 students clearing their exam. For arts stream, the pass percentage hovered at 87.73% with 3612/4117 students declared pass.

The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) had organized the Goa Board Class 12^th Exams from 28^th February to 27^th March 2019, earlier this year. The exams got longer than planned due to postponing of four subject papers. These papers were scheduled to be held on 18^th March 2019, however, due to sudden demise of CM Shri Manohar Parrikar the same were deferred till 27^th March 2019. GBSHSE had organized the HSSC Exams 2019 at 17 examination centres across the state of Goa, this year.
