New Delhi: We have all heard stories of Yeti, mythical beast who is found in upper Himalayan regions. Now, Indian Army has claimed to have spotted footprints of Yeti, close to Makalu Base Camp on April 9.

The pictures of the same were shared by Indian Army on its official Twitter account. The same were spotted while their team was on an expedition. As per Indian Army the Yeti was measured 32X15 inches.

However, the same is yet to be confirmed if the footprints are of Yeti as print marks of only a single foot can be seen in the pictures.

“For the first time, an #IndianArmy Moutaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast 'Yeti' measuring 32x15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past” Indian Army tweeted.




The yeti is also an elusive creature which belongs to traditional Nepalese folklore. It is usually described as being furry and ape-like.
