New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will hold the Class 12 Accountancy exam on Monday, December 13, 2021. This year, the board is conducting exams in two terms, with term 1 covering 50% of the rationalised syllabus. The examinations in term 1 would be 90 minutes long and worth 40 marks, according to the CBSE Accountancy test format.


MCQs Will Be Included In Term 1 CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Exam


Multiple-choice questions (MCQ) will be included in the term 1 exam question papers, including case-based MCQs and of assertion-reasoning kind. The first term of CBSE examinations for Class 12 began on December 1, 2021, and will go till December 22, 2021.


The Accountancy Class 12 exam paper will be divided into three sections: 1, 2, and 3. Part 1 of the CBSE Accountancy paper is required to be attempted by all students. Parts 2 and 3 will cover financial statement analysis and computerised accounting, respectively.

CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Exam: Part 1


Part 1 will be divided into three sections: A, B, and C. While Section A includes questions ranging from 1 to 18 and Section B contains questions ranging from 19 to 36, students must attempt any 15 questions from both sections.


Section C of Part 1 contains questions ranging from 37 to 41. Students will be expected to answer any four of the total questions.


CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Exam: Part 2


Part 2 will be divided into two halves – A and B. Section A contains questions ranging from 42 to 48, and students must attempt any five of them, whereas Section B comprises questions ranging from 49 to 55, and students must answer any six of them.


CBSE Class 12 Accountancy Exam: Part 3


Part 3 is divided into two sections: A and B. Section A includes questions ranging from 49 to 62, although only five must be answered, while Section B has six.
