New Delhi: A day after the Indian economy witnessed its biggest decline in over a decade, a section of industry leaders have decided to chip in and bail out rural and economically backward students by giving them a platform to improve their technical skills for free. The Campus2Corporate VLSI Webinar Series is a non-profit initiative from a team of industry leaders from India and the US, with the support of expert engineers who have organised a series of webinars and job courses for students from all over the country. These globally certified short duration courses held online, have already witnessed over 1000 candidates applying mainly from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, and other parts of the country.

As stated, the webinar series is presented free of cost. The courses will run from September 5 to October 15 and will bring together special faculty and guidance from top Indian and US firms like Intel, Qualcomm, Cientra, Altran, NXP, Alpha IC etc.

The Webinar courses are an initiative of Springbok Technologies and IEEE-BLP and eventually plan to raise money to support NGOs for skill development of rural youth adversely affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Training Program has been conceived, designed and architected by VLSI Industry Experts and particular emphasis has been laid on the importance of skill development, soft skills keeping industry expectations.
