BPSC 66th Mains Exam 2021: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Monday postponed the BPSC 66th Mains Exam 2021. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure in view of the surge in the covid-19 cases across the country and a notice regarding this has been uploaded on the official website of the commission at bpsc.bih.nic.in.


The BPSC 66th main examination was scheduled to be held on June 4, 5, and 8, 2021. 


According to the official notice, the commission will notify the fresh schedule for the BPCS 66th main examination in a due course of time on its official website. Candidates who have cleared the BPSC 66th preliminary examination are eligible to appear for the main examinations. The commission had declared the results of the BPSC 66th preliminary examination on March 24, 2021, on its official website. 


The online registration process for the BPSC 66th main examination commenced on April 6, 2021, and ended on May 17, 2021.


The commission is conducting a recruitment drive to fill 731 vacancies, out of which, 216 vacancies are for Block Panchayat Raj Officer, 210 for Food and Supply Inspector, 84 for Revenue Officer, 65 for Labour enforcement officer (Non-gazetted), 42 for Deputy Superintendent of Police, 40 for Additional District Transport Officer, 25 for Bihar Probation Service (Probation Officer), 17 for Municipal Executive Officer, 13 for Assistant Commissioner of State-Taxes, 6 for Planning Officer / District Planning Officer (Gazetted), 5 for Officer, 3 each for District President, and Prisoner, Prison and Correctional Services Inspectorate, and 2 for Electoral Officer.
