APSC Recruitment 2019: The online application process is scheduled to begin on 8th January 2019 and will conclude on 8th February 2019 on the official website of Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) – www.apsc.nic.in.

APSC Recruitment 2019: Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released a notification inviting applications to fill 157 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Engineer, Agricultural Development Officer and Research Assistant under various departments viz Public Health Engineering Department, Agriculture Department and Directorate of Town & Country Planning, Assam under Urban Development Department respectively. As per advertisement number 14/2018, the online application process is scheduled to begin on 8th January 2019 and will conclude on 8th February 2019 on the official website of  Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) – www.apsc.nic.in. APSC Recruitment 2019 - Vacancy Details: Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) – 33 posts Agricultural Development Officer – 115 posts Research Assistant – 9 posts Total – 157 posts Eligibility Criteria: Academic Qualifications: Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) – The applicant must be holding a degree in respective disciplines of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by Govt. or AMIE. Agricultural Development Officer – The applicant must have completed B.Sc (Agriculture) or should possess a degree declared equivalent to B.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized University and also recognized by the Govt. of Assam. Research Assistant –  The applicant must be holding a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University with Economics/Geography/Sociology/Statistics/Mathematics as one of the subjects. Age-Limit: The applicant must fall in the age bracket of 21 to 38 years as on 1st January 2018. Age-relaxation rules apply as stated in the official advertisement given below. Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of a Written Exam and Interview. Pay Scale: Assistant Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical) – Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- Agricultural Development Officer – Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,10,000/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- Research Assistant – Rs. 22,000 to Rs. 87,000/- per month with grade pay of Rs. 9,100/- Application Fee: The applicants need to pay an application fee of Rs. 250/- via Treasury Challan in the Head Account ““NON TAX REVENUE, OTHER NON TAX REVENUE 0051 PSC, 105 STATE PSC APPLICATION FEE RECEIPT OF APSC”  mentioning the name of post and department.  The original copy of Treasury Challan should be sent along with the application form on or before 8th February 2019 during office hours.
