Even as certain examinations were postponed this year due to Covid-19, there is not going to be any delay in All India Bar Exams  next year. The Bar Council of India, which is the apex lawyers’ body and regulator of law education in the country, has announced the date of the All India Bar Exams 2021. What is the date of examination?

The council on Monday indicated that the All India Bar Exam XVI will be conducted on March 21, as per the PTI report. Apart from announcing the dates of the exams, the Bar Council of India also informed that that the online registration will start from December 26, 2020, and the last date for registration will be February 21, 2021.

It is also important to note that the All India Bar Exam-XV, which has been postponed on a number of occasions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will be held on January 24, 2021, which is the scheduled date.

The release issued by the Bar Council of India mentioned that the All India Bar Exam will be held in around 140 exam centres in 50 cities across the country. Most importantly, the council has specified that the dates issued for the exam are final, and it will not be pushed further.

“It is to be noted that the last date for online registration for All India Bar Exam-XV was December 19, 2020, for which the examination is to be held on January 24, 2021,” the release further read.

This year, many entrance and competition exams have been postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Many exams have been conducted with several guidelines kept in mind such as thermal checks at entry points and using masks inside the exam centre.
