In a shocking event, two masked men on Sunday allegedly opened fire at an apartment in southeast Delhi's Sidharth Nagar area. The accused fired two shots at the door of the first-floor apartment and then they escaped the scene by going to the ground floor. The masked men also fired three bullets at the window of another apartment on the ground floor before fleeing the scene, said Delhi Police while talking to the news agency ANI. 


ANI posted a minute-long CCTV footage from the scene.

In the video, both men were seen standing on the stairs while knocking on the door of the flat. Upon no response coming from inside the flat, they went down a flight of stairs and took their gun out. The man who was holding the gun continuously shot twice at the door with loud bangs echoing in the stairway.

In another episode of shooting in Delhi, a 40-year-old woman in Saket Court was shot at on Friday by a suspended lawyer who had filed a case of cheating against her. The woman, identified as M Radha, suffered bullet injuries in her abdomen and a hand, and was rushed to a hospital where she was recuperating, while the accused Kamashwas Prasad Singh fled from the scene. The incident took place at around 10:30 am.
