Delhi witnessed light showers on Sunday morning which affected traffic at various spots. Traffic was also affected on Rohtak road in both the carriageways from Rajdhani Park towards Tikri Border and vice-versa due to waterlogging.
The Delhi Police has urged commuters to plan journeys accordingly.
Traffic restrictions, security checks in place at several key routes in Delhi in view of the ongoing G20 Summit.

Buses will operate on the remaining stretch of Ring Road and the road network beyond Ring Road towards the borders of Delhi.

Entry of goods vehicles except those engaged in essential services has been restricted in Delhi.

Commuters travelling to the airport have been advised to use Rao Tula Marg instead of Dhaula Kuan as the first day of the G20 Summit kicks in in Delhi.
The Delhi Police has urged the general public to not visit the India Gate and Kartavya Path which come under the "controlled zone" for "walking, cycling or picnicking".

Background
Stringent traffic restrictions are in place as the G20 Summit began in Delhi on Saturday. The G20 Summit, which is being held for the first time under India's presidency, is the highest-profile international gathering ever to be hosted by the country. With the New Delhi district designated as a "controlled zone" from Friday 5 am till Sunday midnight due to the summit, Delhi Police has come out with a detailed traffic advisory on public transport routes towards the airport and railway stations.
India Gate and Kartavya Path also come under the "controlled zone" and the Delhi Police has appealed to the people not to visit the area for "walking, cycling or picnicking" during the G20 Summit. The Ring Road, mainly the Mahatma Gandhi Marg, has been designated as a "regulated zone".
The Delhi Traffic Police has recommended the people of Delhi-NCR to follow 'Mappls Mapmyindia App' for any information regarding the traffic.
All government and private offices, educational institutions, including schools and colleges, commercial banks and financial institutions, shops and business establishments under New Delhi Police District, markets in Connaught Place, Khan Market, Malcha Marg, Shankar Market, Janpath, Mohan Singh Place, Palika Bazar and retail liquor stores will be shut in Delhi.
With road traffic likely to be affected, people have been advised to avail metro services. On the days of the summit, from September 8 to 10, the Delhi metro will begin its services at 4 am from terminal stations on all lines of the network. All metro stations will remain open to people except for the Supreme Court metro station, where no boarding or deboarding of passengers will be allowed on the two days.
NDMC area or Lutyens' Delhi will be a controlled zone and bus services will not be available. Inter-state buses will be allowed entry into Delhi but their terminating points will be on the Ring Road. They will not be allowed to terminate at Inter-State Bus Terminals.
