Extensive preparations have been made to tackle any health emergency during the G20 Leaders' Summit, which is being held from September 9-10. Around 80 teams of doctors and a fleet of 130 ambulances will be handling any medical emergencies during the summit, which is being attended by world leaders like US President Joe Biden, UK PM Rishi Sunak and France's Emmanuel Macron.
All government hospitals in Delhi have been fully prepared and beds have been earmarked for emergency. Besides, ambulances have also been deployed at the summit venue, Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan, and all hotels where dignitaries are staying.

G20 Summit 2023: Medical Emergency Advisory
1) A dedicated and specialised ambulance control room has been set up from September 7-10. Individuals can contact on 6828400604/112 in case of emergency.
2) A total of 106 fully-equipped ambulances have been readied with all advanced facilities. These 106 ambulances will remain on 24-hour high alert.
3) Traffic police personnel have been stationed in the control rooms of Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS), Directorate of Health Services (DHS) and major government and private hospitals.
4) Ten government hospitals have been put on "high alert" during the summit.

5) Lok Nayak Hospital has reserved 20 rooms, GB Pant Hospital 10 rooms, GTB Hospital 20 beds, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital 65 beds, and Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital 40 beds, as per a Delhi government statement.
6) Medical emergency vehicles have been deployed at major junctions across the city.
7) Each hotel has been assigned three teams of doctors and nursing staff, each working in eight-hour shifts.
