Stringent traffic restrictions kicked in as world leaders arrived in Delhi for the G20 Summit which is being held for the first time under India's presidency. Delhi Police has come out with a detailed traffic advisory on public transport routes towards the airport and railway stations as the New Delhi district has been designated as a "controlled zone" from Friday 5 am till Sunday midnight due to the summit.
The Delhi Traffic Police has recommended the people of Delhi-NCR to follow 'Mappls Mapmyindia App' for any information regarding the traffic. With road traffic likely to be affected, passengers travelling to the IGI Airport have been advised to avail metro services.
