MCD Election 2022 Live: Delhi State Election Commissioner (SEC) Vijay Dev on November 4 announced dates for the long-due Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls. Delhi State Election Commission announced that voting for unified three municipal corporations - East Delhi Municipal Corporation, South Delhi Municipal Corporation and North Delhi Municipal Corporation - into one MCD will be held on December 4. Counting of the votes will be held on December 7 and the results will be announced the same day.

In the Ambedkar Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, there are a total of three wards to go under poll in the 2022 MCD election. The names of the three wards of the Ambedkar Nagar assembly constituency are Madangir, Pushp Vihar, and Khanpur.
1. Madangir: In the Ambedkar Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Madangir is ward number one hundred sixty-five in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 52,695. The Madangir (Ward 165) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste women.
2. Pushp Vihar: In the Ambedkar Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Pushp Vihar is ward number one hundred sixty-six in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 82,509. The Pushp Vihar (Ward 166) MCD seat is reserved for scheduled caste.
3. Khanpur: In the Ambedkar Nagar Delhi assembly constituency, Khanpur is ward number one hundred sixty-seven in the Delhi Civic Polls 2022 and has a total population of 64,453. The Khanpur (Ward 167) MCD seat is reserved for women.
