The Delhi CM was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21, in connection with a case related to alleged corruption and money laundering in the formulation and execution of the Delhi government's now scrapped excise policy for 2021-22.
The interim bail was granted by a bench of Justice Sanjiv Khanna and Justice Dipankar Datta, which noted that "21 days here or there should not make a difference" and that the Delhi CM can surrender after concluding his election campaigning after June 2.
The apex court also stated that it would try to complete the hearing of Kejriwal's petition, challenging the arrest by the Enforcement Directorate at the earliest.
