Arvind Kejriwal News: Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj said on Wednesday that Sunita Kejriwal, wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, met him in jail on Tuesday and the Delhi CM has sent two messages for the party. The Delhi Minister said that in one of the messages Kejriwal said that despite him being in jail the people of the national capital should not face difficulties.

In other message the Delhi CM has asked the party to celebrate Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary on April 14.

"Sunita Kejriwal met CM Arvind Kejriwal yesterday (in jail). CM Kejriwal has sent two messages for the party and the government. First, the CM is in the jail, but that doesn't mean that people of Delhi face difficulties. Second, the CM is going through all to ensure the Constitution of the country is safeguarded. CM Kejriwal has also asked the party to celebrate Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary on April 14 in a grand way everywhere," Saurabh Bharadwaj said.

Earlier in the day, Kejriwal moved the Supreme Court challenging a high court order upholding his arrest in a money laundering case stemming from the alleged excise scam.

The Delhi CM's counsel Vivek Jain told PTI that they have filed the petition in the apex court challenging the high court's order. In a blow to Kejriwal ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the Delhi High Court had on Tuesday upheld his arrest in the money laundering case, saying the Enforcement Directorate (ED) was left with "little option" after he skipped repeated summonses and refused to join the investigation.
