The Aam Aadmi Party Delhi ministers Atishi Singh and Saurabh Bharadwaj along with other party MLAs staged a protest outside the Delhi Assembly against the "illegal" arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday.

During the protests outside the Delhi Assembly, AAP Minister Atishi stated that "all the AAP MLAs are protesting today against the illegal arrest of Arvind Kejriwal. AAP Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj hit out at BJP during the protest and stated: "Everyone here is in a t-shirt that says 'Mai Bhi Kejriwal'. We oppose the dictatorship of the BJP. They are raiding our people during the elections time. Four of our big leaders are jailed. They have crossed the limits of dictatorship... They are pressurising the AAP.They are trying to make our government fall.We will keep fighting."

Earlier, the Delhi Assembly House was also adjourned by the speaker for 15 minutes after the AAP MLAs raised slogans in support of their AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government. However, it has now been adjourned till April 1 after AAP MLAs raised slogans in the House.
