Delhi: 5 Cops, 1 Home Guard Stabbed Inside Police Station In Shahdara District
"The accused person has been nabbed and is being interrogated," Delhi Police spokesperson Suman Nalwa said.
New Delhi: A man attacked five policemen and one home guard with a knife in the cyber police station of Delhi's Shahdara district on Wednesday, an official said. It is being told that the attacker had reached the police station on Wednesday afternoon with his complaint. During the conversation, he started doing videography, due to which the police present there stopped him from making the video. Suddenly the accused took out a knife and killed constable Sunil.
Deepak, Amit, Manish and Ravi were also injured in the stabbing while trying to stop the attacker. Sunil was posted as a constable in the Shahdara police station itself, while Deepak, Amit and Manish are constables of cyber police station and Ravi is being told as a home guard.
"The accused person has been nabbed and is being interrogated," Delhi Police spokesperson Suman Nalwa said.
Further investigation into the incident is underway, he said.

In another incident of crime in the national capital, some youths had a fight with some other youths in the gym of the Bhajanpura area, said police. To avenge that quarrel, the accused had opened fire on a young man. The bullet did not hit the young man but went into the stomach of Shahzad, who was buying meat. Shahzad died on the way to the hospital. Police has started identifying the accused from the footage of CCTV cameras installed around the incident site.
The accused took advantage of the stampede after the firing and fled from the spot. After this, Shahzad was taken to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead. During the investigation, it was found that the accused youth had joined a gym in the locality and used to practice there. There he had a fight with some other youths.
