A man from Kalluru village of Nirmal-Kuntala district in Telangana has seen crossing the Sudda Vagu stream by sliding along a pipe from one side to the other. The footage captures him using the pipe as an improvised bridge to reach the opposite bank.

Due to the absence of a proper bridge over the stream, villagers are forced to take life-threatening risks by traversing an iron pipe. This video underscores the lack of basic infrastructure in several areas of Telangana, where people continue to depend on unsafe, traditional methods to travel between villages.

As per the report by NDTV, the issue is especially dire in the Kalluru-Pata Burugupalli area of Nirmal-Kuntala. Despite changes in local governance, the bridge over Sudda Vagu remains unrepaired since it was destroyed by heavy rains.

The movement of the people was severely affected between the two villages. It has caused widespread hardship to farmers and compelled the villages to put their lives in danger while crossing the water body. Expressing a deep concern, villagers feared that they could be swept away if they lost their balance.
