Bihar Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav on Wednesday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party sharing a video of a ward councillor harassing a shopkeeper in Muzaffarpur. In the video, the councillor of ward number 10 of Muzaffarpur, Abhimanyu Chauhan could be seen entering a hardware shop with some of his accomplices. He could be heard abusing the shopkeeper and his brother.

He also beat up the shopkeeper, Jitendra Kumar and his brother Shubham and even held them at gun point. The ward councillor could be heard abusing and threatening the duo while one of the accomplices said: "We will shoot at you... Do you recognize me? Whose son is he."

Slamming the BJP-JD(U) government in the state, former Deputy Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav said that this is the work culture under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar saying he has become helpless and powerless.

"See how BJP leaders are openly barging into shops and pointing guns at businessmen. They are abusing and beating them. If they don't pay extortion money, they will shut down their business," Yadav said in a post on X.

"This is the work culture of BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The bigger the goon, rapist, criminal and swindler, the bigger leader he is. This is their Mangalraj," he said.

"Criminals are creating havoc. Is this not hooliganism protected, supported and sponsored by the government," he questioned.
