A commotion broke out in the Avantika area of Delhi near Rohini when some residents saw pro-Pakistan slogans written on a wall of a house. A video of the incident is now widely shared on social media where a resident shares his location, Avantika C-Block. He tells about receiving information about a nearby building where pro-Pakistan slogans have been spotted.
He walks through a flight of stairs and enters the flat where slogans like "Long Live Pakistan" can be seen on the wall outside.
The local then proceeds inside the flat with a group of men where some utensils and old rusty furniture could be seen lying around the corner. The men then enter a dark room with no light and find an old frail man with a bare chest sitting on the floor in the middle of the room. A foggy visual of the man was seen after some people turned on their mobile flashlights.
The locals confronted the man and asked him the reason behind this act while staying in India while some of them could be heard saying that the man looks mentally ill.
The man, who did not appear to be in complete consciousness asked for only one person to make a question at a time. "I will not answer anything like this", he said.
When one of them asked why he did such an act, the individual replied: "Meri mohabbat hain Pakistan se" (It is my love for Pakistan). He again said why everyone was asking questions while the residents told him not to do such a thing again.
Towards the end of the video, the locals told the man not to do this again in a harsh manner as they left the house.
As per the police investigation, the man seems to be mentally ill and Delhi Police, Intelligence Bureau, and Special Cell are interrogating him. Old records of the accused are also being probed and his family members will also be questioned.
Police will gather more information about the accused by going through his social media account and they are also on the lookout for the people he met in the last few days.
